Target audience

Cities around the world are involved in a global process that seeks to meet today's challenges. The economic, environmental and social crisis we are going through clearly implies that our development model needs a drastic overhaul, and cities are key actors in the implementation of sustainable consumption and production models that will lead towards a green economy, i.e. an economy that is fairer and more resource efficient.

This event targets experts on these issues, representatives from local and supra-municipal entities, entrepreneurs, companies, leaders of civil society organisations, teaching and research staff and journalists. There will also be a limited number of places for final year students who are doing work on local sustainable development.
